Whites: Fresh tastes and a bit racy acidity just enught to show that it has a bit higher acid level. They use a lot of Italian varieties which I dont even know.

Frissek és élénk savak jellemzik de csak annyira, hogy éppen megmutassa, hogy tartalmaz savat.
Reds
Pinot Noir 4 Bells and another Pinot, Nebbiolo, Shiraz has a barely detectable defult which is caused by fenolic component but giving them a bit of air it goes away. The wines were still a bit young. I also checked out the forified Shiraz which was delicous.
To sum up it the wine and the experience was really nice and I get to know a lot about the region and the winery. you should go there.
Vörösborok
2 Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Shiraz egy minimális borhiba megjelenik benne de megszellőztetve eltűnik. A portói Shiraz nagyon finom volt.
Összeségében csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek akit érdekel, sok mindent megtudtam a borvidékről és a borászatról.

I won’t describe all of them individually but a show they were changed over the years. The ’Bel Sol’ one was a bit close on the nose but it went away as I went back tot he older ones and it the ’13 Reserve It disappears. The tannins turn to more round and smooth. Their color was a bit pale but that come from the process how they make it, it’s called post-fermentation maceration.
It was absolutely worth it it’s such a small production but interesting Pinot Noirs and new way of making wine. I was able to check out their cellar too and they were really helpfull.
Pinotok
Nem egyesével fogom leírni őket hanem inkább úgy, hogy miben változnak az évek alatt. A ’Bel Sol’ egy kicsit fülledtebb, zártabb illattal rendelkezett de ez ahogy mentem vissza az években egyre tűnt el a ’13 Reserve-nél már egyátalán nem volt jellemző. A tanninok is az évek során egyre inkább lekerekedtek. A színűk egy kicsit halvány volt de ez valószinűleg a technologiából fakad mivel a maceráció a fermentáció után zajlik.
Minden mértékben megérte ide eljönni mivel nagyon finom Pinot Noir-okat készítenek és más technologiát használnak mint amikkel eddig találkoztam. Még a pincébe is körül nézhettem a borásszal aki nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt.

To conclude it, Both wines have a lot of flavors and potential. With every stir there’s a new flavor that comes out. Not to mention that they farm organically and on some vineyards with biodynamic methods. If you look for good wines stop here.

A hordókat kostolttuk végig nagyrészt 1-2 évesek voltak a borok. a Fajták amikre emlékszem, hogy kóstoltam, persze a teljesség igénye nélkül : Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Cabernet Sauvignon. A Grenache egy kicsit még friss, fejletlen volt nekem, de idővel biztos jobb lesz. Shiraz ami a nem messze lévő ültetvényről származik, régen egy kajszi ültetvény volt itt és ez még egy kicsit most is érződik az ízén. Meg azokra a borokra amelyikek a hegytetőn termelt szőlőkből származnak jellemző egy kicsi mineralitás azért mert volt egy gleccser ami felmosta a köveket a hegytetőre.
I tried the wines which are in the barrels currently. They are 1-2 years old. I can’t remember all of them but here’s a brief description of what I remember: Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro, Cabernet Sauvignon. One particular Shiraz which come from the top of the hill nearby had an apricot plantation before wines took over and it can be felt in the wines too. It has a bit of mineral taste too because there was a big gleicher or something that washed the stones onto the top of the mountains. The Grenache was a bit young for me.

Itt arra kell kitérjek, hogy honnan származnak a szőlők mivel 2 külön helyről származnak és mindegyik más karaktert ad a bornak, ezek Eden és Clare Valley. Eden Valley délebbre van és egy kicsit érleltebb,testesebb karaktert ad a a boroknak, míg Clare Valley egy frissebb, könnyebb citrusos bort ad. I have to explain a bit about the origin of the wines. They come from 2 different areas and that gives them a unique character. The ones from Eden Valley which is a bit southern from the Barossa, develop a bit more mature and bigger body to the wines. The ones from Clare Valley have a more citrus fresh, fruity flavor. All of the wines are from last year except the one where I stated differently.

As its name suggests it has a more mature characteristic. I liked it the most.

Jó kerek savak és citruosak amik egy érdekes karaktert adnak az édesség mellé.
The acidity gives a nice balance to the sweetness.

Érdekes volt egy citrusos rizlinget inni diós karakterrel.Csak ajánlani tudom mert nagyon sok arcát megismerhettem egy fajtának.
It’s a really interesting one which has a bit of citrus characteristic too it.
I can only recommend it because you can know a lot about 1 variety.

Itt a kostoló sorból kettőt kostoltunk meg közösen. A Small indulgences (Kicsi elnézések) és a Irreplaceable vineyards (helyettesíthetetlen szőlőültetvények).Alapvetően az egyik legrégebbi szőlőültetvénnyel rendelkező borászat.Az azt jelenti, hogy akár 150+ évesek is lehetnek a tőkék,(A Filoxéra még nem ért ide) ebből kifolyólag kevesebb a termés de viszont nagyon koncentrál, összetett borok vannak. Érdekes megnézni őket kisebb a kóstoló terem de annál jobb.
I tasted to wine flights here with my mates. The called Small indulgences and Irreplaceable vineyards. The vineyards are can be 150+ year old, yes Philoxera hasn’t arrived yet to Australia. Because of the old wins they have less but more concentrated fruits. Really complex wines, with a lot of layers. Their tasting room is quite small buti t definately worth a visit.

Nagyon menő hely nagyon tele volt a kostoló vagy fél órát kellet várnunk, hogy sorra jussunk. Ja és kosárpréssel dolgoznak. Ez a préselési módszer a kisebb adagokok préselésére jó viszont sokkal kiméletesebb.
A really fancy place we even had to wait a bit to get in. They are using a basketpress which is good for small batches cuz it’s more deilcate.

They grafted Alicante onto Shiraz and that’s how it became. Somewhere between rosé and red wine and has a meaty taste but quite thin body.

It was in oak and has a nice body with a chocolate taste which tends to get a bit sweeter than it used to. It was totally worth it. The wines were nice and young and the tasting raw are always changing.

It spent 21 months in oak and has a nice characteristic to it.

A gyümölcsösség dominál de valahogy nem teljes az összhang.Nagyon jók voltak a borok és mindent kézi szürettel oldanak meg kivéve a Syrah egy részét. A Nero d’avola nyilt tetejű erjesztőkben készült. Igen itt használnak dugókat.
The fruit characteristic is dominant but somehow in the end it doesn’t come together in the end with the other aromas.Really good wines mostly hand picked except one part of Syrah. The Nero d’avola was fermented in open top fermenters. They used corks to close their wines, it’s a rarity here.

Sokrétű és hosszú bor érett tanninokkal és testtel.Azok a borok amelyeknek a nevében szerepel a Spring a Kangaroo szigetről származnak ahol a klíma jóval hidegebb. Ha még visszatérek biztos kóstolok még innen borokat mert csak egy kis szegmensét kóstoltam most meg.
Has a lot of layers to it, also a good body and tannins.The wines which have spring in their names are from the Kangoroo Island which is much colder. I tried just a small segment of the wines but if I ever return there I’ll definitely try more.
